SynRG made a presentation on a regional Research-to-Practice Training on bio-ethical expertise in medicine, education and biology. The Training was supported by USESCO.
The training was conducted on October 30-31 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
Among training participants there were research scientists, university professors, and specialists in the area of medicine who focus on bio- and medical ethics issues.
Leading specialists in the area of ethical expertise and bio- and medical ethics were invited from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan to serve as training experts and lecturers.
Presentation delivered by SynRG was entitled “Ethical Committees Members’ Continuous Education Concept”.
During the Training, great attention was paid to the experience of Ethics Committees (EC) in the USA and Europe, and to the advantages and the possibilities of the remote training. Program of basic education, and continuous education structure were discussed as well. Topics considered included training documentation maintenance at ECs.
Presentation also focused on the necessity of the international collaboration in the area of the ethics specialists’ education with an example of cooperation between SynRG and European Forum of GCP (EFGCP). Perspectives of joint development and implementation of EC members’ educational program were touched upon.
